This past Saturday, we worked with Wendy and John. They were married at St. Francis Parish in Dracut and had the reception at the lovely Radisson in Chelmsford.
Wendy’s dress definitely stood out from the crowd. She had a very elegant touch of purple around her neck and down the back of the dress. There were also some purple beads mixed in with the rest of the bead work. Great choice Wendy! And yes, the ladies wore matching purple dresses…
John was a great sport throughout the day. He allowed us to do some really fun shots with him and the rest of the guys. He even played a song on the piano especially for Wendy. Talk about a ladies’ man (or should I say “lady’s” now).
The Radisson has a great formal staircase in the lobby which is where we took the majority of the formal shots. We also took some in the bridal room, between appetizers, of course.
The reception was very well planned and organized. Wendy and John each had some special dances selected as part of the day and even dedicated songs to each of their parents. In each case, the dedications were actually their parents’ wedding songs and both Wendy and John’s parents have been married for over 35 years. How thoughtful!
It didn’t take much to get the party going and get everyone up out of their seats. Everyone danced the day away and gave George and me the opportunity to get a lot of great candids throughout the day.
Thank you Wendy and John for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your wedding. We really enjoyed getting to know you both!
