The Lily Challenge – Weeks 1 & 2

Well, I decided to bring back The Lily Challenge this year.  What is The Lily Challenge you ask? It is the challenge of taking Lily’s picture every day for a month straight. Anyone who knows me knows this is a significant challenge for me. I first did it back in March of 2010 (read Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4 and our Final entry) . I chose to do it to mark the milestone of her first birthday and felt her fifth birthday would be a great time to bring it back.

The fun part this time around was having Lily involved in the planning process. I asked her if she would let me do this project with her. She said yes and followed that with, “Let’s make a list of the photos we can take!”

I bring you the first two weeks…

Day 1 – Reading Bedtime Stories

Day 4 – “Shooting” Snowy Owls

 

Day 5 – Breakfast at Mimi’s

 

Day 6 – Helping me Clean my Truck

 

Day 7 – Bedtime with Spells and Swoops

 

Day 8 – Reading with Uncle Jonathan

 

Day 9 – Hide and Seek

 

 

Day 10 – “In the tub with a mohawk” (one of her ideas)

 

Day 11 – At Pre-school Meeting a Great Horned Owl

 

Day 12 – One of Her Favorite Places
