Michelle & Ryan’s Engagement Session
Have you ever met the captain and co-captain of the Perfect Team? I have. Well, at least according to Michelle and Ryan, that’s who they are. Who’s the captain and who’s the co-captain? Totally up for debate.
Michelle and Ryan are both from the Boston area. They met via Ryan’s sister. She’s a teacher and he’s a firefighter – both servants at heart. They’re also hysterically funny. Their sense of humor is a lot like mine, so we laughed quite a bit during their engagement session at Elm Bank Reservation in Wellesley. After circling the property a few times, we finally found each other (first time there for all of us). I had walked around the property for about half an hour before I met up with them in order to scout things out.
Elm Bank Reservation is run by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. It has an abundance of gardens, unique landscapes, a river and a mansion. Not much more a photographer could ask for!
We wandered all around the property – laughing, shooting and talking as we went. An oversized red Adirondack chair in the children’s garden was a ton of fun! The formal garden around the mansion was wonderful too. We even attempted some "perspective" photos on the front lawn.
The funniest conversation we had was related to "Captain Perfect." It’s a running joke that they’re not just perfect, but so perfect that they "Captain" the perfect team. Like I said…they’re darn funny.
Michelle and Ryan – I look forward to your wedding this year! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be creative and also find a new place.
She’s got him wrapped around her finger!!
Perfectly stunning in this shot!
Such a fun dress!
