A year ago today, our lives changed forever. At 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, Dorothy gave birth to our daughter Lily Grace Turner. Our lives haven’t been the same since. We’ve had so much more joy, so much more love, and so much more laughter each and every day.

Lily has a smile that lights up the darkest place. She has a laugh that softens the most difficult situations. She has eyes that can melt the heart of the greatest warrior. She has a strong will that she gets from her mom and a dare-devil personality she gets from her dad. She’s all us and then some.

To my Lily – I love you more than you will ever know. The first year of your life has been amazing. Your mom and I are so blessed to have a healthy, beautiful daughter whom we love SO much. We have great expectations for your life, but most importantly we want to teach you how to live, laugh and love.
