It’s almost like one of those commercials you’d see on TV, but better. Their profiles weren’t exactly what they thought they were looking for, but something struck a chord when they found each other on eHarmony and started talking. Their wedding vows to each other say it better than I ever could…
Lindsay to Jeff:
"I think I knew after our first of many marathon dates that you would be the one to make me laugh for the rest of my life. You’ve become my everything. There isn’t a soul on this earth that I’d rather experience life’ adventures with and no one that I’d rather play a never-ending game of Punch Buggy with."
Jeff to Lindsay:
"A few short weeks after I met you, you sent me an email with pictures of what type of engagement ring you would like someday. While most guys might have been scared, and even though I teased you about it for two years, I was secretly happy because even then I knew we would be here today and I knew someday I would need your email."
Seriously, I just can’t top that…
Lindsay and Jeff celebrated their wedding ceremony and reception this past weekend at Raffael’s in Walpole, MA. Their ceremony was held on the back lawn on a perfect May evening. The limo pulled up by the arbor and Lindsay stepped out. Jeff held back the tears as she walked down the red-brick path toward him. Jeff’s daughter Abigail cried tears of joy for her dad from the front row. Lindsay’s dad Arthur gave Jeff a big hug and kissed his daughter before heading to his seat. Jeff and Lindsay nervously held hands while the minister began the ceremony.
Throughout the ceremony, Lindsay and Jeff celebrated each other and their families. They laughed, even cried. They read their vows to each other and exchanged rings. A friend read, "Guess how much I love you." And then they embraced. They were and are truly in love.
The ceremony finished and the celebration continued. We took care of the formal photos right on the lawn after the guests had moved up to the patio for cocktail hour. My favorite part of the formals was the time with just Jeff and Lindsay at the end. The light was amazing and the newlyweds didn’t hold back on their emotions. They were bubbling over with joy. As a photographer, those moments are absolutely priceless.
The rest of the evening was a ton of fun. Twilight came quickly and we snuck outside with Lindsay and Jeff right after the toasts. The sky was AMAZING that night and we had a perfect spot for the shot.
One of the funniest moments of the night was when Lindsay surprised her dad at the end of their dance and had DJ Rick play "Walk like an Egyptian." I don’t remember the whole story behind it, but Lindsay’s dad Arthur attempting to walk like an Egyptian in his tux was pretty darn funny.
Lindsay and Jeff also had a photo booth out on the patio for their guests to have some fun in and were able to create a very unique guest book from the photos.
DJ Rick kept the music going all night. The dance floor never emptied and the energy never stopped. Even when everyone’s "dogs" got tired, there was a whole bucket full of flip-flops to help ease the pain. Thanks Franklin!
Lindsay and Jeff – you are two amazingly hysterical people! George and I had such a wonderful time celebrating and partying with you and all of yours. We hope that your life’s journey takes you to the moon and back! Thanks for allowing us to share in your wedding day with you!

So fun!
Those are grandparents in the picture frames.
George is perfecting this shot. I like it more each time.
Yup, Lindsay loves to laugh!
Jeff holding back the water works.
His vows really were that funny.
Really.
They did it!
I love it when a couple gets it when I say, "Pretend I’m not here."
Wish I could capture images like this over and over.
Those are Jeff’s hand-written vows.
Bryce, the ring bearer, having fun with Jen.
Last dance.
And, heavenly drumroll, twilight! We just got lucky with the sky.
