I’ve never claimed to be a smart person. But, I was the "smartest" kid in math in the 4th grade throughout my whole city. I have the placque to prove it. Just one of the many treasures I found while cleaning my basement recently. Although I’m not anything close to a Math whiz at the age of 33, two always makes more sense than one when it comes to the number of photographers to have at a wedding. That’s why George and I have shot together since the beginning.
What I love about having him photograph a wedding with me is that we know each other so well it gives us this sixth sense about our environment. I know where he is and what he’s shooting and vice-versa. It’s a priceless level of comfort that I appreciate more than I can express.

I love the light in this one, perfectly balanced.
Whenever you have a group of groomsmen that have known each other all their lives you get some great emotion, in this case genuine laughter.
The setting for this photo couldn’t be more perfect. Here again the groomsmen had all known each other for a long time and were loads of fun to work with.
The pool table was one of the only things in this room, it was raining out side and we were waiting for the rain to stop. I had to get creative.
I love the emotion in this picture.
Being a second shooter during the ceremony allows me to focus on what’s going on, not only with the ceremony itself but with the audience and the wedding party as well. This flower girl was inspecting the petals she had dropped.
When Jeff is shooting formals its fun to get different angles on the action. These girls were patiently waiting for their turn to have their pictures taken. I love the composition of this photo

Capturing emotion is the goal of a photographer. Candids like this one are my favorite.
I enjoy doing close up work. This is one of my favorite ring shots. Working with the rain is the key to not letting it spoil your wedding day.
Using a wide angle lenses can give you an interesting perspective in a photograph. I love the feeling it creates in this photo.
Good lighting, great composition and the ability to stand in the middle of the road while the traffic light was red makes this one of my favorites.
This ring shot was a result of a perfect storm – location, light and Jeff’s love for newts coupled with his ability to find and catch one. The result speaks for itself. One of the most unique ring shots we have done to date.
These kids were brother and sister. They were posing for their mom who was taking a picture of them with her own camera. I love how the brother has a "get me out of here" look and his sister appears to be genuinely happy to give her brother a big hug.
Fall colors are hit or miss around here. Sneaking out between rain drops we captured the beauty of the bride and groom along with the amazing fall colors which were too good to pass up.
During the reception people often let loose and go crazy. It makes for some great pictures.
Reception time is party time. It’s fun to capture the energy that was present during the party.
