When I talked to Caroline and Tim about the idea ofan engagement session, it was obvious that it was something they wanted to do. They both love pictures and have the walls of their home covered with their cherished memories. What was even more exciting was that Caroline said she wanted to wear her wedding dress. She figured she was going to "get something on within five minutes of wearing it" on her wedding day and really wanted to have some photos at the beach in her wedding dress. Considering that their wedding is this November, a beach shot in a wedding dress wouldn’t be ideal the day of the wedding.
We met up at Duxbury Beach. This is one of my favorite spots to shoot and actually the place where Tim proposed to Caroline. They were prepared with all kinds of props including Tim’s pristine black Jaguar. The weather was gorgeous. The beach was busy and more and more people were arriving to dine on the beach as the sun went down. I thanked Caroline and Tim for allowing me to have such a great job!
Caroline and Tim – I look forward to celebrating your wedding day with you later this year. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful evening with me!
Here are the highlights from their session:
I really like the textures of the rocks in these two:
The Jag never looked so good!
This shot makes me laugh every time. I was trying to get the "tough guy" shot and Caroline just couldn’t keep a straight face. She loves to smile!
And of course, a silhouette.
