Lynlea & Mark’s Wedding

She grew up in the Canadian Rockies. He grew up inWestern Mass. She loves to ski. He loves to coach football. They somehow found each other and are now spending the rest of their lives together.

Lynlea and Mark selected the Omni Parker House in Boston, MA as the location for their wedding ceremony and reception. Joss, the wedding coordinator at the Omni Parker greeted George and I as we stepped off the elevator onto the Mezzanine. The ceremony would take place here in just a short time.

George and I caught up with Lynlea in her room. As usual, it was a bit of organized chaos as most wedding days are. We took her wedding dress up to the 15th floor ballroom for some photos.

We planned to take a bunch of formals before the wedding and the weather provided enough of a window for us to use Boston’s Old City Hall courtyard – brass donkey and all. George and I stayed in close contact in order to ensure Lynlea and Mark didn’t see each other.

The music of a string quartet filled the room, where Mark and the wedding guests anxiously awaited Lynlea’s arrival. The door opened. Her father was so proud to walk his beautiful daughter down the aisle. Mark could hardly contain himself as he watched them approach.

Mark and Lynlea took a few minutes to greet their family and bridal party before we went back to the Press room for formals. We then snuck back outside with just the bride and groom for a few more formals in the courtyard.

The reception was held on the 15th floor in the Rooftop ballroom overlooking the city of Boston. After a few toasts and dinner, the party started and didn’t stop until late that evening. Mark insisted that George and I share a toast with he and Lynlea at the end of the night. This was a first and much appreciated gesture.

Thanks Lynlea and Mark for allowing us to celebrate with you. We wish you all the best as you continue life’s journey together!
