I met Marci and Andrew throughmy old job. I know I sound like a broken record when I say this. They were actually my third wedding in four weeks with former coworkers. It’s always a lot of fun to see old friends and catch up on each others’ lives.

Marci and Andrew selected St. Mary’s Parish in Hanover for their ceremony. Marci grew up attending there, so it is home for her. The church building itself is rather unique. The sanctuary is in the shape of the cross, but unlike many of the older cathedrals, St. Mary’s has a very modern architectural style. What I loved about it was the nice bright ceiling and the many bright windows. Lots of natural light is another rare commodity in New England churches. Marci’s father proudly walked his daughter down the aisle to the awaiting Andrew.

Like many other days this year, the weather was not favorable for outdoor formals, so we took them in the sanctuary and then headed off to Monponsett Inn. Once there, I snuck Marci and Andrew outside for a couple of quick snaps in the rain before they were announced to their guests.

DJ Steve, with Entertainment Specialists, began the intros. Little did he know how crazy Andrew gets on the dance floor. And he didn’t disappoint. From the moment Andrew stepped through the door with Marci, it was on. They danced like no one was watching. It was awesome! The highlight of the evening was when Marci, Andrew and Matt (Marci’s brother) did a little karaoke/interpretive dancing/stage diving to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Their friends and family hooted and hollered their approval. Rarely have I seen a moment as funny as that. I think Marci’s sunglasses were the icing on the cake.

Marci and Andrew – thanks for letting George and I celebrate and party with you guys! We had a ton of fun! And one more time, I have to give a shout-out to the "usual suspects." Thanks for making the night that much more memorable!
