2012 Alana’s Favs
Another great year has come and gone within the blink of an eye. I met many amazing people, had great experiences and I’m grateful for every moment! Here are some of my favorite shots from 2012. Enjoy!
In the Hollywood spotlight!
There is a lot I love about this image, the light, the composition, the simple beauty and softness of the model. It’s very appealing to the eye.
Fierce.
Another image from my Vampire shoot and I love the way her eyes and expression draw you into the image and makes your mind wander.
I love the composition of this image with the two flower girls getting prepped for the wedding!
Editing is a big part of the process and the edit on this image pulls your focus right where it should be.
An example of what props and prepping can add to a shoot.
One of my favorite shoots to date. I love all the lines and texture, but yet the model still pops from the image.
I’m a detail-oriented person and that’s what this image is all about, showing the similarities and differences between two sisters.
Taking advantage of your surroundings spur of the moment can create awesome photo opportunities.
The bond between sisters and best friends is something unbreakable. That was the basis of this photo shoot and to me this image shows an unbreakable bond.
To me this captures the little girl’s innocence.
Working with little kids on the go is always a challenge, but when you get a shot like this it makes it all worth it, especially when it’s blazing hot in August!
I love the contrast from the sunlight streaming into the hotel room after the groom got ready.
What I love the most about this image was that it wasn’t planned. The groom was taking some time to relax before the day’s festivities.
To me this image is all about capturing the moment. It’s timeless.
The joy from the bride’s mother is shinning from ear to ear in this image.
I love the softness and back lighting on this photograph.
These are two great friends of mine who are recently engaged and to me this captures their personalities. Gavin the goofball and Jessie always laughing!
There’s not much more in this world that I love as much as puppies. Being able to work with dogs is something I thoroughly enjoy. To me, this is a money shot and great way to end 2012!
